In May 1864,
during the infamous "March-to-the-Sea," Union General
William T. Sherman began
the "Battle of Atlanta," upon his departure in November,
the general ordered the city be set
ablaze to prevent re-occupation by Confederate troops, but
like the phoenix (FENIXX)
in Egyptian and Greek mythology, Atlanta rose from the
ashes of the Civil War to become
a great international city and music capital of the New South.
In the 21st century,
the fashion world witnesses the south rise again, igniting
the fire of a "New Urban Flava."
